About Us

TE Tracks Ltd was founded by Thomas Edwards - an Occupational Therapist, Adult Educator and Advanced Clinical Practitioner - who recognised a growing gap in how Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and Social Care Professionals are supported, developed and integrated into urgent, emergency and crisis (UEC) care teams and services.

What began as a small initiative to deliver practical, capability-based training has evolved into a socially purposed business dedicated to reducing system pressures through proactive, preventative and person-centred approaches. Our belief is simple: by strengthening the skills, confidence and collaboration of health and social care professionals, we can reduce avoidable admissions, support timely recovery, and ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place.

Our Purpose

E Tracks Ltd is a social enterprise committed to transforming urgent, emergency, and crisis (UEC) care by developing the capability, visibility and confidence of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and Social Care Professionals.

We believe that meaningful change in UEC comes through learning, collaboration and innovation — supporting professionals to work proactively and preventatively to reduce pressure on services, improve patient outcomes, and strengthen integration across health and social care.

We reinvest 50% of our profits into service development, digital access and subsidised training for disadvantaged groups — ensuring capability building reaches where it’s needed most.

Our work is structured around the Four Pillars of PracticeClinical, Education, Leadership and Research — to drive the Three Shifts at the heart of NHS strategy:

  • From hospital to community, by equipping clinicians with skills to deliver care closer to home.

  • From sickness to prevention, by embedding early intervention and recovery-focused approaches.

  • From analogue to digital, by expanding accessible, blended learning and data-informed improvement.

Our Aims and Objectives

Theme 1: Clinical Practice

Aim: Increase clinician confidence and reduce dependency on the medical model by strengthening AHP and social care contributions in urgent, emergency, and crisis care.

  • Deliver targeted training aligned with national priorities and emerging trends in UEC.

  • Build skills in prevention, early recognition of deterioration, and safe community-based care.

  • Promote recovery-focused approaches that integrate physical, mental and social needs.

Theme 2: Education & Workforce Development

Aim: Support individual and team development through structured learning pathways and coaching that build capacity, confidence, and resilience.

  • Embed adult learning theory and the Four Pillars of Practice in all education activities.

  • Offer coaching and reflective practice to prevent burnout and enhance performance.

  • Develop modular learning programmes that align with enhanced practice and progression to advanced practice.

Theme 3: Integration & System Leadership

Aim: Drive service and system development through advocacy, consultancy, and inter-professional collaboration.

  • Provide consultancy to identify inefficiencies and co-design solutions.

  • Advocate for AHP and social care representation in UEC system planning.

  • Facilitate networking and shared learning across health, social care and voluntary sectors.

Theme 4: Quality Improvement, Innovation & Sustainability

Aim: Embed innovation, evaluation and sustainability across all TE Tracks activities to maximise reach and long-term impact.

  • Expand digital learning through an online CPD and capability portfolio platform.

  • Use data, evidence and lived experience to measure outcomes and shape improvement.

  • Build research and quality improvement priorities that AHPs and social care professionals can lead.

Our Impact

By aligning learning and leadership development with NHS system priorities and reinvesting into our mission, TE Tracks Ltd will:

  • Reduce pressure on urgent and emergency care services through proactive, preventative practice.

  • Improve patient outcomes and reduce health inequalities across the care continuum.

  • Strengthen collaboration between health and social care professionals.

  • Equip AHPs and social care professionals to be recognised, valued and integrated within urgent, emergency and crisis care.
